Dirt Ladle

This is me yesterday afternoon digging up some dirt in the back yard with a ladle.

I bought an adorable miniature “pine tree” at Trader Joe’s, which is actually a Juniper bonsai festooned with glitter. I know I’m probably expected to throw it away after the holidays but I can’t bear to do that to this innocent little tree. So I grabbed a plastic ladle, the most shovel-like thing I have, and hit the backyard with a flower pot.
At some point, I realized that was probably weird.

There Goes the Neighborhood (a Minecraft comic)

I started a new game in Minecraft and spawned near a village with huge wheat farms. It was a veritable jackpot!  So I stole all the wheat and some pieces of the village, then receded into a nearby mountain. If I did that to real villagers, they would stone me.

Sorry for getting all nerdy on you.

The Sharkers

Ch-ch-changes! I bought a brush tipped pen and I really like using it. I’m still a little shaky with it, but improving. And now I can use the felt tippers for backgrounds to really make things pop! This is a panel from the first comic using the brush, it’s a picture of  me and Erik in our natural environment.  The working title is: What’s Caca?
